UNESCO i-WSSM operates offices in key regions worldwide to strengthen local water security capacity.
The UNESCO i-WSSM Kenya Regional Office was established in November 2024 within the Regional Centre for Groundwater Resources (RCGW) in Nairobi. As Africa's water security cooperation hub, it focuses on groundwater research, water resource management capacity building, and technology transfer to improve water accessibility and support SDG 6 implementation in East Africa.
