The Center participated in the first joint achievement-sharing session of Korea's seven UNESCO Category 2 Centers (K-C2C), "Heritage To Humanity," held at the BEXCO Convention Hall in Busan on July 27, 2026, in commemoration of the 48th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
At the session, the Center delivered presentations on "Water Security and UNESCO" and "Water and World Heritage," sharing in detail its international cooperation achievements in the field of water security, the role of water management in protecting world heritage, and its future project plans.
Holding this first joint achievement-sharing session is significant in that it allowed the Center, as a member of Korea's UNESCO Category 2 Centers Council, to share its international cooperation achievements with the international community and explore future directions for collaboration.
