Ms. Bitna Lee (Programme Specialist of i-WSSM) presented the overview of the Global Water Security Issues Series, which is one of the efforts to put science into action to make a sustainable and prosperous future for all. Prof. Leehyung Kim (Kongju National University) emphasized the Nature-based Solutions as strategies for sustainable water security. Dr. Hyun Jung Park (Vice Director of the Institute for Climate Change Action) highlighted that the integrated development plans should be developed in the Water-land Nexus and climate action should be mainstreamed to solve water challenges.
